Located at 602 Mission St. Archive Bar & Kitchen is housed in the Atlas Building. This pre-earthquake structure was built in 1905 and was one of the only buildings on Mission St. that was spared from the quake and fire of 1906.
602 Mission St. has been the home of a restaurant
since the mid 40's.
It's current rendition, Archive Bar & Kitchen, was established in 2013. It's walls are adorned with maps and photos of early downtown San Francisco and the shelves are filled with artifacts picked from all over the bay area.
Archive's interior is warm and welcoming with a vintage industrial flare. The brick walls and steel beams provide a timeless backdrop for any occasion. Archive is open to all and is perfect for lunches, happy hour groups and evening eats.
We are also your headquarters for private events and in-office catering.
